How to use less than in sql query

How to use less than in SQL query.

Less than in SQL Query: User stores data in SQL Server table. User stores various types of data in the table. User need to display records from a table less than values than other large value. For this propose user can use less than (<) operator (sign). Less than operator extract the value from table base on  user given value. For example, user wants to display records which quantity less than five. Less than operator is very useful in SQL select statement.

          Syntax:
       Select */Column-Name1, Colomn-Name2, ..... From TABLE_NAME Where Column_Name < 'VALUE'

Description:
              Select: It is SQLkeyword.
           */Column-Name1,.... : Is name of column.
            From: From is SQLkeyword.
            <: Is SQL less than operator          

           'VALUE'= It is a base value. It has been given by user.
